So we were going to go to Atlanta for the weekend to meet my brother, but he had to change his plans to a later date, so we will be going to Atlanta in a couple weeks to play, or Chattanooga to go to the Aquarium. We are trying desperately to stay busy. So this weekend we decided to do two day trips instead. On Memorial Day we went to Kentucky to Lake Barkley, only about 35 minutes from our house. It was a little redneck--it reminded me a lot of Salem Pond in Utah with lots of people smoking, lots of people sporting mullets and far too many women wearing bikinis who for the sake of all of us nonblind people SHOULD NOT! But it was fun, nonetheless. The kids swam and found a nice long watersnake swimming next to them and lots of creatures in shells.
