Epcot

Epcot could possibly be one of my new favorite places on earth. The attention to detail given by Disney is remarkable. I was absolutely blown away by the International Village section and my all time favorite ride, Test Track, was at Epcot. Soarin' was the family favorite and we went on it three times. Mission to space was an incredible concept, but it aslso made us all incredibly sick. Poor Sophia carried the complimentary puke bag around with her for an hour afterwards. We had an even better time at Epcot than we did at Magic Kingdom.

The kids were very tired this day and we left a little early so Brian and I could have a hot date together that night. The kids swam in the pool at home and made homeade pizzas with Uncle Justin and Caleb. Brian and I went to Benihana for sushi and hibachi. We ended up meeting several workers from Epcot at the hibachi table. They told us that they had just been told at a meeting that the average family of four spends $7000 for a week at Disney World. Our jaws dropped. Are people seriously crazy? We did the entire trip for 11 people for $2500. Now we do suffer from cheapskate syndrome, and we got a sweet military discount for tickets. . . but still $7000 for four people? Good grief, no wonder America is so far in debt! But on the bright side, Disney does put their money to good use by making some incredible parks.
