Mini Vacation to Florida--Stop 2--Neptune Beach

We stayed the night at a beach front hotel on Neptune Beach outside of Jacksonville, Fl. After the zoo, we went to a cajun restaurant that gave the kids Mardi Gras beads. They were thrilled with that. We then went to the beach for a stroll in the dark. Brian brought a flashlight and told the kids to chase the light as he shined it out in the darkness. They ran and tackled and wrestled each other on the beach and then went back and slept very well in the hotel. We then woke up first thing and went out in our pjs to find seashells. After breakfast we body surfed and built sand castles. Sadly, the kids could only handle so much at 75 degrees and very cold water. Okay, it is February afterall, but we still enjoyed it. (Notice that I didn't get wet! I wasn't ever cold:)
